Stewards of Hope: A Pastoral Plan for the Diocese of SalinaThis January the diocese began implementation of a diocesan pastoral plan whose aim is to reinvigorate the faith of Catholics in our parishes. Stewards of Hope places empahsis on various aspects of what it means to be Catholic and a disciple of Jesus Christ over the course of four years.
The first phase, Spirituality of Parish Life lays the foundation for the rest of the Pastoral Plan. It consists of four sections:
Stewards of Hope CommitteeEach parish or grouping of parishes has formed a special Stewards of Hope Committee to assist the parishes of the diocese in carrying out this pastoral plan. For our area, this committee consists of members from the parishes of Belleville, Concordia, Cuba and Munden. Over the next four years, and hopefully beyond, we will be collaborating together as a community and Catholic family to foster this universal call to holiness. The first efforts of our Stewards of Hope Committee include the monthly Stewardship Challenges and the special event with Immaculee Ilibagiza. Our committee consists of the following members:
